The international conference entitled “The Alliance to Prevent a Great War,” organized by the World Civilizations Initiative Research Center, was held at the Meyra Palace Hotel in Ankara on 18–19 July 2026.
UWI will present the speeches held on the conference during the coming days.
The conference, which featured presentations by speakers from Azerbaijan, Belarus, France, Germany, Greece, Iran, Italy, Japan, Russia, the Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic, South Africa, Spain, Switzerland, the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC), Türkiye, the United Kingdom, and the United States, was attended by approximately 200 distinguished invited guests.
Ministers, members of parliament, ambassadors, retired generals, scholars, politicians, diplomats, military officers, and experts examined the question of the “Alliance to Prevent a Great War” from a wide range of perspectives.

On behalf of the Japanese Patriotic Organization Issuikai, we would like to convey our message of solidarity to all participants attending the conference organized by the World Civilizations Initiative Research Center.
The world is currently going through a truly turbulent era. This period is defined by the collapse of the unipolar US hegemony and the emergence of a multipolar global reality. The unjust attacks by the US against Iran, its interventions in other nations, and its interference in the internal affairs and physical interventions in Latin American countries such as Venezuela are absolutely unacceptable.
Under these circumstances, a NATO summit was recently convened. As is well known, French President Macron once stated that NATO was experiencing “brain death”; furthermore, US President Trump had described NATO as a “paper tiger.” This situation stems from the rise of multipolarity worldwide and a growing momentum toward preserving the independence, sovereignty, and right to self-determination of every nation.
Regarding the Atlantic question, efforts centered in Türkiye—alongside the Russia, China, and Iran axis—are being put forward to safeguard peace, stability, and the lives and livelihoods of peoples. In conditions where globalism, capitalist exploitation, and plunder are increasingly incited by the US and global financial capital, many sensible people across the globe are standing up in opposition.
At present, Japan lost the war eighty-one years ago and remains tied to a system dependent on the US, with US military bases present on its soil. However, we demand the withdrawal of these US bases and advocate for the establishment of an Asian security system in peace and stability with neighboring countries.
Furthermore, I hope that at this conference organized by the World Civilizations Initiative Research Center on July 18–19 in Ankara, resistance against NATO will grow stronger, and the struggle to build an Eastern civilization—a civilization of peace, distinct from NATO—will be brought to the forefront.
Japan is an Asian nation located in the Far East. Türkiye has truly been a country that has written the history of civilization in various aspects; in this regard, we wish to further develop a civilization that reveres harmony for global peace and stability.
One hundred and one years ago, Oswald Spengler brought forward the decline of the West. Capitalist exploitation, which causes the degradation and corruption of the human spirit and social fabric, can only be sustained through brute military force, tyranny, and systemic coercion. The time for this system’s collapse has arrived. This system is a disrespect to humanity and drives human beings toward an extremely perilous brink.
Now is the precise moment to highlight Eastern wisdom and Asian harmony, which represent true civilization. From Tokyo, I extend our solidarity message to this valuable conference held by the World Civilizations Initiative Research Center in Ankara.
